Agape Editions is pleased to announce both the Winner and the Editors’ Choice selection of the 2017 Numinous Orisons, Luminous Origin Literary Award for Poetry.

We are honored to have had Allison Joseph serve as this year’s Judge.

Allison Joseph lives, writes, and teaches in Carbondale, Illinois, where she is part of the creative writing faculty at Southern Illinois University. She serves as Editor and Poetry Editor of Crab Orchard Review, Moderator of the Creative Writers Opportunities List, and Director of the Young Writers Workshop, a summer writers’ workshop for teen writers. We extend our warmest thanks to Allison for the time she spent with the work of each finalist, ultimately selecting the winning manuscript from a set of very compelling works.

Emari DiGiorgio’s Girl Torpedo has been selected by our Judge as this year’s winning manuscript. Girl Torpedo will be published by Agape Editions in 2018.
